The Vančura position is not a very common ending. It was studied by Josef Vančura and his analysis was published in 1924. The key idea is to keep giving lateral checks to drive White's king away from the queenside until white pushes the pawn to a7, then to play Ra6 to reach another well-known drawn rook ending.
Note that in the Vančura position, we can't try to do checks from the 1st rank because white's king can hide on a7 and then white will be able to promote the pawn with the help of the rook.
In this position, we can start the sequence of checks with Rf5.
